LUMEN

INTRODUCTION

Finding light in the real world, the quests of the humanity throughout centuries, is also a question about natural light and the feelings it procures. It seems that light is essential for human life, to physically introduce consciousness as well as showing the physical world.

The word “light” comes from “luminaria” in Latin language which means star. It also comes from “lumen” which means light, flame and day light.

The mood board shows pictures from artificial lights created by humans. I took for examples street lights, lamps, spectrums of disco ball, the rainbow reflection on a CD, neon reflection on a black water surface but also restaurant signs, traffic lights, billboards, paint light…

CREATION

Humans need to feel safe during twilight falling down to earth but they understand that light should coexist with darkness, it’s their nature, their essential.
